9.3. Options

Table 9.1. sndc options

Option name Description
-l,--log-facility log_facility Choose log facility: daemon | user | local0 | ... | local7 (domyślnie: local6).
-L,--log-level log_level Choose log level (on stderr and syslog) i.e. messages of selected level and more important levels will be logged: emerg | alert | crit | err | warning | notice | info | debug0 | ... | debug2 (default: notice).
--socket-file filename Connect to the server using a specified socket file (default: /tmp/dgns.ic.socket).
--host host Connect to the server on a specified host (default: use socketfile).
--port port Connect to the server using a specified TCP port (default: use socketfile).
--ttl seconds Specify maximum time in seconds to wait for completion of the connection (default: 60).
--text text Ask the server for reading this text by its graphic clients.
--file filename Ask the server for playing this file by its graphic clients.
-v,--version Display version number on stderr and exit.
-h,--help Display this help and exit.
